A civic-scale composition turns the Bank of Italy building into a vertical, inhabited city.

The work

Banco di Vita unfolds across two façades of the Bank of Italy’s Catania headquarters. Figures, passages and local references climb the building as one continuous public narrative.

The intervention expands Capo.Bianco’s recurring relationship between architecture and its inhabitants to an urban scale, using the existing façade as both grid and frame.
