A Berlin residency anchors the early language of crowded architecture and broken perspective.
The work
The BAI series was developed during a residency at Berlin Art Institute. Large and small ink drawings observe the city through bars, balconies, staircases and the figures that occupy them.
Works including U Berlin, Baalsaal and Off Bar establish the false axonometries and layered interiors that continue through Capo.Bianco’s later public practice.
